Your
respon­sibilities

• Monitor trends, findings of external studies, conferences and publications relating to energy markets and the energy transition, distil insights and synthetise them into crisp messages and presentations/documents
• Drive ad hoc internal research to improve our understanding of the context in which Fluxys is evolving (e.g., developments in the hydrogen market, carbon capture technologies)
• Manage projects and relations with external consultants contributing to strategic and prospective studies in which Fluxys is involved
• Contribute to the annual strategy update process:
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality strategic notes that focus on the market context, show an understanding of Fluxys’ positioning and define the company’s strategic ambition. This involves gathering and structuring all relevant information into a coherent narrative, distilling messages and helping to prepare shareholder seminars
  • Lead the alignment process with other stakeholders providing input for the strategic process (e.g., setting strategic objectives, planning investments)
• Act as a true ambassador for Fluxys and carry out Fluxys’ vision and strategy by representing Fluxys in the outside world, for example by serving as a speaker at external events or attending conferences

you

• Master’s degree in engineering, business engineering, economics or equivalent field
• At least five years of relevant professional experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to write effective documents and presentations
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Capacity to synthesise complex discussions, build a high-level picture and formulate decision-ready recommendations
• Proven process management skills (ability to deliver concrete results by established deadlines)
• Natural ability to interact with and challenge key stakeholders across different departments
• Good presentation skills to represent Fluxys externally
• Ability to take a structured approach combined with the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
• Very good command of Dutch, French, and English
