For our office located in Lugano (see the map), we are looking for an H2/CO2 Infrastructure Business Development Officer (m/f/x).

Job
purpose

Your mission is to generate new sustainable revenues from gas and energy products such as hydrogen and carbon dioxide. You will develop sustainable business activities, projects and partnerships in Switzerland and Europe, creating value for Swiss & European industry, FluxSwiss and its stakeholders.

You will report to the deputy CEO of Fluxswiss and the Fluxys’ Group Business Development team.

Your
respon­sibilities

Business Origination and Development

• Identify profitable business development opportunities that will contribute to FluxSwiss' continued growth, helping to define its long-term vision and strategy. Energy infrastructure projects typically have a long lead time given the investment amounts at stake. That is why perseverance is key
• On the basis of an in-depth market analysis, convert ideas into mature concepts and marketable value propositions, assessing their strategic importance and potential technical, commercial and organisational impact
• For mature and promising concepts, move on to the project scoping and structuring phase, including planning and setting up of project governance
• Establish solid relationships with external stakeholders (partners, customers, authorities, etc.) to create a favourable ecosystem for business development

Project Management

• Develop and lead the implementation of the service offering, converting opportunities into effective value creation
• Coordinate and inspire cross-functional project teams made up of internal stakeholders and experts as well as external partners
• Develop business plans, identify opportunities and risks, and elaborate mitigation measures
• Prepare the internal decision-making process by providing key information in a timely manner
• Monitor the progress of projects and manage the work plan, resources and budget
• Organize the integration of projects into the commercial activities of Fluxys group, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to the operational phase

Fluxys’ ambassador

• Promote FluxSwiss as a key player in the energy transition adding value by providing infrastructure-based solutions

About
you

• Master’s Degree in engineering sciences, business engineering, management, law, or a related field
• Preferably 5 years of relevant professional experience in business development or industrial project management
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial skills
• Proven track record of independently managing innovative projects from inception to completion
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage uncertainty
• Good command of English and German. Knowledge of Italian and/or French is an asset
