For our office located in Anderlecht (see the map here) we’re looking for an Automation Lead Engineer (m/f/x).

As the main operator of Belgium's network of gas pipelines, Fluxys Belgium also operates a nation-wide telemetry system that includes hundreds of control and measurement devices coupled to a state-of-the-art IT network. This ‘nervous system’ not only provides essential information for monitoring and controlling our pipeline network, but also connects our central dispatching office to local equipment, industrial equipment and control equipment.

Your
respon­sibilities

• You will help support and maintain our OT systems
• You will help integrate cyber security developments into our OT systems
• You will oversee and provide direction for better defining the solutions that need to be deployed in response to OT innovation needs
• You will take the lead on projects for developing OT solutions
• You will join the on-call team for our OT systems (the team responsible for incident management outside working hours)

• You will help update documentation relating to our operational activities involving OT systems
• You will report to the Realtime cluster leader

About
you

• You have a master's degree in industrial computing or automation, or equivalent experience
• You have at least three years of experience in an OT environment
• You focus on those cyber security aspects affecting OT
• You have a keen desire to develop and consolidate in-depth OT knowledge
• You can take initiative and operate autonomously, enabling you to identify opportunities for improvement and development
• You have excellent leadership and communication skills that enable you to coordinate and motivate others and provide them with constructive feedback. You ensure a fluent communication with your colleagues, management and your co-workers
• You have a true team spirit (openness, cohesion, and sharing)
• You take a digital approach and have a solid knowledge of IT tools
• You have a good command of French or Dutch plus a good knowledge of English

Additionally, this role requires:

• On-call duties after a solid training period
• A category B driving licence
